TAMIL LITERATURE
TAMIL LITERATURE
Introduction
As we've seen, Tamil culture dates back at least three centuries before the Common Era (AD (CE)). Tamil traders and sailors created commercial and cultural linkages across the seas, as did merchants from other countries.Visits to the Tamil region were also made by other countries. The resulting cultural and commercial activities, as well as internal developments, resulted in the region's urbanisation. Towns and ports arose as a result of this process. The first coins and banknotes were issued. Documents were created in writing. In order to write Tamil, the Tamil-Brahmi script was adopted. Tamil poems from the past have been written.
